A concierge practice charges a high cost yearly fee. They will also collect copays at each visit and bill your insurance. Our DPC practice gives a personalized service normally associated with concierge medicine, but at a much lower cost. Our DPC practice does not collect copays at visits and does not bill your insurance for any services.

Add a spouse of child for small additional fee.
For an individual 12 month annual membership is $2400/year, or $200 per month. Add your spouse for $100/month, or your child under age 26 for $64.50/month.
A family of four would be $5100 per year, or $425 per month - for complete access whenever you need medical care - phone, office, video visit, out of state, out of country, etc...
You have access to Dr. Gunn in his office, or via telemedicine, phone or text message. There are no other office copays or deductibles to be paid.
If you want to see Dr. Gunn just here and there, without a membership, the cost is $250 per visit, or $500 at your home or office.

With your annual membership fee you get up to four visits with the doctor per month with NO additional fees and no copays. You are also eligible to receive an annual physical at no additional fee.
You can cover your spouse and child for a small additional fee, and they are entitled to the same benefits. ECG/EKG if needed, and a thorough history and physical exam.
Visits cover any evaluation and management, prescriptions, referrals, laboratory orders. A written care plan is also given to every patient, summarizing your care and next steps.

Dr. Gunn is an out-of-network physician for all insurance plans, including Medicare.
That means NO Copays, NO deductibles, no billing and insurance headaches or surprise bills.
When you see Dr. Gunn, he can provide you with a superbill / invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if you have used your PPO insurance and have met your deductible. Ask your carrier about reimbursement for an out-of-network physician.

If you don't want to sign up for a membership, Dr. Gunn can still see you and you can pay a single visit fee, depending upon what you need - medical management, annual physical, pre-op, post-op, post-hospitalization or admission to an assisted living facility.

Home visits are available if within 15 miles of 91361, and Dr. Gunn can visit patients at Los Robles hospital on an informal basis. He will be in communication with your team and will be checking on the care you receive in the hospital.

No. The fee covers your access to Dr Gunn, his evaluation and management of your condition, as well as any prescriptions, laboratory orders or referrals. It is NOT insurance, and it is recommended that you carry a catastrophic policy in the event of a major illness or injury. The cost for your medicines, your labs, imaging or consultations with other physicians is not covered.

Yes! Dr. Gunn has state of the art video visit capability.
Dr. Gunn is also available for old fashioned home visits, hospital visits or nursing home visits. Discounted rates for membership patients, but non-membership patients are welcome to inquire.
